About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Android) with strong technical skills. You will be a part of a mixed team working closely with the client from the banking industry. On the financial planning application that you will be working on, you will be given the authority to take technical calls, guide your lesser senior colleagues, build new functionality, but also help on improving the existing codebase, including performance and monitoring.

What you’ll do:

• Assume end-to-end responsibility for the products we deliver.
• Understand the importance of code efficiency, enabling quality by code reviewing, unit, and integration testing.
• Support the development of functional specifications from the IT side.
• Actively participate in the review processes of the specifications.
• Understand the complexity of individual functions and their effects on technical implementation.
• Learn about new technologies and actively share your knowledge with other members of your team.

Skills and qualities we appreciate:

• At least 3 years of proven experience in native Android application
  development
• Extensive experience with Kotlin
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose, Retrofit, Okhttp, Room, Moshi, Dagger2/Hilt, Firebase
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Bitbucket, Gitlab
• Unit and UI testing skills
• Nice to have: Dependency Injection, GraphQL, Google Maps, OpenAPI 
• Experience in secure development
• Hands-on experience in the Agile working method.
• Hungarian and English languages.
• BSc degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
